Why is smoking bad for you?

Smoking is a bad habit and one should stop smoking as soon as possible.  Smoking is bad for your health and leads to diseases like cancer, heart disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease which kill thousands of smokers every year.  Longer a smoker continues to smoke it can damage the organs which at a later stage is difficult to overcome the problem.  Smoking can also cause damage to the smoker's loved ones who are continuously subjected to second hand smoke.

Smoking also gives you bad breath and can also lead to the teeth turning yellow.  There are more chances of a smoker losing his teeth than a non smoker.  Smokers get wrinkles, age prematurely and look older and unhealthy.  Cigarettes are expensive hence smoking habit is becoming expensive over the years.  The amount of money spent on cigarettes can be spent on constructive things than having to spend on smoking and treat diseases associated with smoking.

If you are a smoker, now is the time to quit smoking before you have severe health problems or suffer from the other side effects.  You can do it – quit smoking now and permanently.
