The dangers of passive smoking...

Passive smoking is when a non-smoker inhales smoke that is exhaled by a smoker. This smoker could be a friend, family or just someone who passes by. Passive smokers are so called because they involuntarily inhale smoke. Passive smoking is as risky as active smoking, especially if you are exposed to a lot of smoke.

What are the risks involved in passive smoking?

Passive smoking makes people cough and causes irritation of the eyes. Some other risks involved include:

1. Pneumonia

3. Wheezing
4. Ear infections
5. Asthma
6. Heart disease

The best thing to be done to avoid passive smoking is to move away from the source of smoke. If the smoker is someone who you are close to, you could influence him to give up the habit. That way, you save a life and also avoid inhaling something that you don’t wish to.
