Smoking: Myths and Facts!!

Myth: - Smoking is hazardous to smokers only.

Fact: - It is untrue. It has been proved scientifically that smoking is equally harmful for smokers as well as passive smokers especially children. It may leads to several respiratory and lungs problems

Myth: - Smoking lowers the blood pressure.

Fact: - This is completely untrue. Infact doctors often advise patients with high blood pressure to quit smoking. Thus smoking in any case will not be beneficial for anyone.

Myth: - Tobacco smoking enhances your mood

Fact: - As cigarette consist of nicotine which is an addictive as well as a stimulant that make u feel alert and relaxed. But as the effect goes off, you will come in a worse mood. Some researches associate smoking with depression and hyperactivity.

Myth: - It is easy to quit smoking

Fact: - It is untrue. Since cigarette has nicotine which is an addictive substance make smoking difficult to quit. Also the withdrawal symptoms make situation worst. Thus it is recommended to take doctors advice over it or else opt for any herbal medication which restrict withdrawal symptoms and eliminate your nicotine addiction. i.e. NicoNot

Myth: - Few cigarettes a day are not harmful and are fine.

Fact: - No they are harmful because of the fact that these few cigarettes have enough nicotine to harm you.
